Lion Mobility Van Drivers Participate in First Aid Clinic

Eleven volunteer mobility van drivers and interested Lion members invested a day to learn emergency first aid, and CPR. According to the April 17th edition of the Ottawa Citizen close to 40,000 Canadians have an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest every year, but only between 5-10% of the Canadian population are trained in CPR.

Clockwise from the top are Bernie MacLean, Lion Dorothy Maynard, Toby Stewart and Patricia O’Rourke.
