Mark your calendars and bring your appetite—the much-anticipated Westport Lions Club Annual Fish Fry is back on Saturday, June 7th, serving up delicious food for a great cause.
Now a beloved tradition, the Fish Fry is more than just a meal—it’s a chance to gather, connect, and support our community.
Held at the Lions Beach at 63 Mountain Road, this year’s event promises to deliver the same friendly atmosphere, hearty plates of golden-fried fish, and that unmistakable sense of Westport & Area pride.
Tickets are just $20, with all proceeds going directly back into local initiatives supported by the Lions Club—from youth sports teams and school programs to seniors’ services and disaster relief. “Every bite helps,” says Event Organizer and long-time Lion’s Member, Rick Warriner “This is a popular fundraiser and it really helps us do more for our community.”
The event kicks off with Take-Out service from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, perfect for those who want to enjoy their meal from the comfort of home. Then, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, guests are invited to either dine inside the Lions Hall or outdoors, picnic-style, while watching the sunset by the lake.
Whether you’re a longtime supporter or new to the area, everyone is welcome to join in.
Tickets can be purchased in advance from any Lions Club Member, or by messaging the Westport Lions Club Facebook page. With demand expected to be high, early ticket purchases are encouraged.
The Westport Lions Club has been serving the community for over 75 years, and the annual Fish Fry is a testament to their continued commitment to fellowship, service, and fun. So come hungry, bring a friend, and enjoy a great meal while giving back to your neighbours.
