Westport Lions Club Rock the Beach Volleyball Tournament – July 12/25

This is an invitation to sign up for the Westport Lions eighth annual Beach Volleyball Tournament being held at the Lions Beach on Saturday, July 12^th. There will be a canteen, music and plenty of fun prizes given out to all participants. The schedule will be determined once we know the number of teams we have in each division. We can accommodate ten teams. There will be two divisions, one will be competitive (players that play Beach VB regularly) and a non-competitive division (for everyone else). Both divisions will play co-ed 4 v 4. We have two courts, so each team is guaranteed to play multiple games. To encourage a fun atmosphere, each team must have always at least 1 man and 1 woman on the court.

The entrance fee of $120 and registration form must be submitted by July 9^th. The first ten teams to submit their entry fee and email the application form to breddick@rideau.net are in the tournament. Teams that email their registration form to the Lions Club but do not submit the entry fee will be placed on a waiting list. We will accept teams on a first come basis, so it important to get your registration fee and form in a.s.a.p. You can send a cheque to Westport Lions Club, Box 428, Westport, ON K0G 1X0 or send an e-transfer to breddick@rideau.net. The rain date will be Sunday, July 13^th. IN CONSIDERATION FOR my participation in the Beach Volleyball Tournament for Westport Lions Club:

I hereby willingly acknowledge and accept that playing beach volleyball is hazardous and that hazards exist both on and off the playing surface at Westport Lions Beach.

I hereby agree that this activity is, and shall be, at my own risk and I, for myself and on behalf of my issue, estate, beneficiaries, successors, executors and any person claiming pursuant to the Family Law Act or through me, hereby release, forever discharge and save harmless WESTPORT LIONS CLUB AND ITS MEMBERS, any sanctioning bodies, sponsoring companies, participants, entrants, etc. connected with this event from and against any and all actions, claims, costs and expenses arising out of my participation in Beach Volleyball Tournament for Westport Lions Club, including without limitation, any physical injuries or for loss or damage to my property.
