March 26th in the year of 46
the cannon no longer roars
but Canadians still grieve
for their son’s on distant shores.
But there is also joy
the future looking bright
dark days of depression over
as the day that follows night.
And in a little village
nestled by a lake
some local men stepped up
an opportunity to take.

Men of vision indeed
