On Saturday, April 8th Lisa Walsh from Westport spoke to over 380 Lions at the District Lions Convention held in Cornwall. Lisa spoke on how the eSight glasses have changed her life, and explained how these glasses have given her the gift of sight. Lisa gave District Governor Susan Wilkes a Certificate of Appreciation for the District’s outstanding support in helping the Westport Lions to raise $19,500 required to purchase the eSight glasses. The District in turn presented Lisa with a Certificate of Appreciation for her being such a great ambassador for the eSight project.
