Westport Lions Roar

Each year, the Scanlan family rents the Westport Lions Beach House for their family Christmas. The family used to hold the celebration in individual homes but with nine adults in the immediate family, plus their children and grandchildren, they needed a larger space. Sixty people now attend the reunion. It is interesting to note that the patriarch of the family, Dick, grew up as an only child, but he and his wife Monica (Mickey) had 11 children (two daughters are now deceased).
Every year, one sibling is tasked with the job to organize the reunion. It has been a long-standing family tradition that they raise money for a charity by individual donations and raffling off items. One of the responsibilities of the organizer is to pick a charity to donate to. The Westport Lions are thrilled that this year’s organizer, Harry Scanlan, decided to donate the money to the Westport Lions Medical Mobility Service. The Westport Lions thank the Scanlan family for their generosity.
In case you are wondering (no pun intended) the tractor is a 1968 Case with power steering and is powered with an approximately 45-horsepower motor. It comes with the loader and is for sale.
