Expressions of Interest For Businesses

Have you ever found yourself thinking of a business venture but could not find that perfect location?

Depending on your business proposal, the Westport Lions Club (WLC) might have the location for you. WLC is now accepting Expressions of Interest from the public, businesses, corporations and governments to lease or rent all or portions of their properties described below.

WLC owns two parcels of property on the north side and east end of Sand Lake in the Township of Rideau Lakes, as follows:

The (North side/East end) parcel consists of 140 acres (Parts Lots 13 & 14, Concession 7) that includes 300 feet of clean beach; approximately 2,000 square ft. building that has a large meeting hall, kitchen and washrooms.

Exclusions: Beach area (300 feet of shoreline), public washrooms housed in the basement of the main building and the single bay garage.

1. The Northern parcel consisting of 40 acres (Part Lot 14, Concession 7) of vacant land (formally used as a trailer park) it has 2 wells, a septic system and hydro.

Westport Lions Club retains the right to negotiate with any interested party or reject any Expression of Interest. Please note that all proposals are subject to Township and Provincial zoning laws.
