ROAR!! The Vision Screening Team from the Gananoque Lions Club held a protocol meeting with Lion Jim McGlade from Westport. The Screening Team look on as Lion Jim captivated them with his many years of experience with testing grade school students in the Westport area. The Gananoque Lions Club will be testing Linklater Public School and St. Joseph’s Separate School in the near future. This is another great way for the Lions Club to help out in our Community. In 1925, Helen Keller challenged Lions to become “knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness.” And we accepted. Today, sight programs remain one of our defining causes.
