Some upcoming events on our calendar for November are:
On Friday, November 24th, Lion Heather Huth and hopefully a little elf will be selling Christmas cakes for $10 and calendars for $20 during the Shop and Hop. They will be located at the parking lot of the Home Hardware from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
On November 28th our club is invited to the Athens Lions Club’s annual appreciation banquet for helping them supervise the gates at their Farmersville day. This year, in addition to great food and laughter they will be inducting new members.
Don’t forget to mark Saturday, November 24th on your calendars. Our annual Santa Claus parade starts at 2:00 p.m. from Macs Convenience store. One again we will be collecting either money or non-perishable food items during the parade for the local food bank.
