One weekend each fall, the Westport Lions do fundraising for the CNIB centre at Lake Joseph in the Muskokas. They have donation collection centres at the Village Esso, Village Green, the Beer Store, and Kudrinkos.

From the end of June to the middle of August, Wednesday nights are Bingo nights at the Westport Arena/Community Centre. The Westport Lions call the numbers and operate the Bingo throughout the summer.
Music and activities are organized for Canada Day afternoons at the Lions Beach. A shuttle service is available from St Edwards School yard to the beach and the highlight of the day is the evening Fireworks over Sand Lake by the Westport Fire Department.
