One weekend each fall, the Westport Lions have a White Cane Day to do fundraising for the CNIB centre at Lake Joseph in the Muskokas. They have donation collection centres at the Village Esso, Village Green, the Beer Store, and Kudrinkos.
At each year’s Halloween festivities, Lions Don Baker and Dwyane Smith, with Bob Thompson’s decorated trailer supplies treats for the children in costume.
